Message	going to be present through out the rpm band. 34 is a bad det sensor which is not a good thing. Your det sensor can just be bad, or sensed something (kaboom), or even burned through (happened to me). You need to do a plenum pull and see why it is giving you the 34. Once the 34 is gone then you will have your performance back. I am just guessing here but the piss poor performance is alot of smoke and possibly rough idle.
